Our traditional European-style Christmas market is right around the corner! Save the date for Christkindlmarkt at the West Allis Farmers Market (6501 W. National Ave) on Friday, Dec. 6 from 4-9 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 7 from noon - 4 p.m.! We'll have over 60 vendors including Wisconsin specialty food retailers, artisan craft vendors, local food trucks, local breweries, live music and more!

Garbage/recycling pick-up will be adjusted for Thanksgiving. Find the adjusted schedule at WestAllisWI.gov. City facilities including City Hall, Southwest Suburban Health Department, West Allis Public Library, West Allis Senior Center, West Allis Farmers Market, and the Municipal Yard will be closed on 11/28 and 11/29.

Don't forget that the Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks (WIC and Senior) will expire on Thursday, Oct. 31. Get to the market within the next two weeks to get your fresh produce! Participating farmers will have a sign displayed like the one pictured. Simply pick out $8-9 worth of produce and pay with the check. Remember - farmers cannot give change with these checks. We're open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 - 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 1- 5 p.m. Happy shopping!

In case you were wondering, we’re in PEAK market season and have SO MUCH fresh produce to choose from. Stop by today from 12-5 p.m. and stock up for the weekend. In addition to the squashes and pumpkins, our vendors also have tomatoes, eggplants, peas, beans, watermelon, cantaloupe, pepper, fresh herbs and more! Unfortunately, we won’t have craft beer on site today, but there’s plenty of other great finds to discover.
